Who We Are:
We are a digital community of faith that provides spiritual inspiration, encouragement, and resources tailored specifically to the needs of women of color.
By offering a safe and supportive environment, we aim to empower women to strengthen their faith in God and uplift each other.
Through a sense of community, we strive to create an environment where women of color can find solace, encouragement, and spiritual growth.
What Inspires Us:
Women of color face marginalization and disrespect in mainstream society, leading to challenges in maintaining faith and feeling unsupported in their daily lives.
These "queens "often feel isolated and overlooked, and in many instances, they struggle to find a safe space where they can freely express their faith and receive support and encouragement from like-minded individuals. Additionally, societal pressures and systemic inequities contribute to feelings of inadequacy adding further stressors and doubts as they walk with God.
Therefore, it was out of necessity that our organization was created. We are a community of women who are growing in our faith while working to impact the world! Our goal is to help as many women as we can transform their lives and become the very best version of themselves. It is here--- in our "Queendom"--- that we teach, learn, laugh, and grow together as we work to enhance God's Kingdom.

Meet Our Founder
Adrea Harris is a passionate advocate for education and empowerment, with a diverse background spanning over two decades. As a 17 year veteran educator, Adrea dedicated herself to nurturing the minds of future generations before transitioning into the digital content creation space in 2019.
In her role as Marketing and Communications Consultant for Parents for Public Schools, a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing family and community involvement in public education, Adrea honed her skills in copyediting, advocacy and community engagement. She later served as a Service Year Advisor for City Year, where she worked to address educational inequity by coaching AmeriCorps members who were transitioning into their year of service in our nation's public schools.
In May 2020, Adrea felt called by The Most High to embark on a journey of faith-based teaching, igniting her passion for sharing God's word and uplifting others spiritually. By January 2023, she established The Village, a small group bible study that focused on fostering spiritual growth, positivity, and connection.
Driven by her commitment to empowering women of color, Adrea launched Queens Pursuing Purpose in January 2024. Through this platform, she seeks to inspire and uplift women, providing a space for spiritual growth, community, and empowerment through faith.
